Transformation of all things is inevitable…is it beautiful…does it have more to give?
David Leigh Macdougall
David is a visual artist and a musician who has been professionally active since 1995. He is primarily a painter and works most often in oil and acrylic. With his recent works, he gathers images in an unstructured and impulsive manner, responding with immediacy to sights and objects that draw his attention, as one might do from the window seat of a bus tour. His work has been collected nationally and internationally.
David graduated from Emily Carr College of Art & Design (ECUAD) in 1994, majoring in painting and print making. David has worked as a studio assistant for Coast Salish artist Susan A. Point since 1996. He currently teaches drums and paints at his studio in Delta, BC, where he lives with his wife Daniela and daughter Madison.
